We (Brooke, Kayla and I) set out for LAX this morning on an excellent adventure in search of Nanny and Hannah.  (Jessie being the big first grader that she is now was unable to skip school for the trip to the airport.)
This trip was a birthday present from Nanny and Poppa to Hannah which she has known about since her birthday in mid June and we have know about since around April - and wow...  it's finally here and we are all so darn excited about it - no one can shut up for a second (family trait obviously).

In total Nanny style - Mum arrived with pressie bags for all the girls that included the most beautiful homemade knitted sweaters for each of them and gorgeous outfits to go with and also a New Zealand bag of kiwi goodies.  Jar's of Marmite, kiwi ornaments, manuka honey soaps, buzzy bee pencil cases, kiwi erasers, NZ snow globes, personalized hair brushes etc....  Kept the kids busy this afternoon for hours!!

Hannah has decided that she would love to learn to surf while she is here - so Jeff is very happy about that.  We are going to hit as many Californian theme parks as we can... and if anyone knows my mother well enough... I am sure we will get to Disney more than once!  Hannah has been out of NZ a couple of times to visit family in Australia - but never this far so we have lots planned and we are very excited - so stay tuned for updates over the next two weeks....as we tour about - and as they say in California - "we are going to have some fun DUDE!!!!"   Over and out!

Oh how fun! Your mom is here! I'd love to see her!!! Oh my goodness, I completely forgot about girls night. Seriously, things have been so crazy it's not even funny. I'm so sad I missed it and completely forgot to even give you notice. This is by far the sickest Bailey has been. Your blog is great!
